Stephen and Janice began their adventure as husband and wife this past weekend. Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Arlington, followed by dinner and dancing at Washington Golf & Country Club. Their decor centered around navy and merlot, which tied everything together from start to finish. Every detail was carefully selected to showcase their love for each other (and their fabulous style)!
You may remember Janice and Stephen from their Shaw Tavern engagement photos last winter. After spending a couple hours together, I already knew we would be good friends. They both have such kind, genuine hearts it’s no wonder they fell for each other. Their families showed so much support and love throughout the day, I can see where they both get it from!
Although Janice is a Nationals fan, she couldn’t attend the parade AND get married. Instead, they decided to bring some of the fun to the reception! Janice surprised her guests with a Nationals jersey while the band played “Baby Shark.” The crowd cheered, her dad danced beside her while wearing a Nationals hat and it was such a fun touch to the celebrations!
The evening came to a close with mini pies, Whitley’s peanut favors (a local Virginia favorite) and a sparkler exit to remember. Congratulations, Janice and Stephen! Enjoy your honeymoon, and I can’t wait to see you when you get back!
