Sunset Beach Maternity Photos | Maryland Maternity Photographer

This may be my favorite portrait session yet! Not only did Andrea and Brendan pick a stunning location, but we were lucky enough to get the best weather all spring. I loved their maternity photos so much, I decided to share them in two parts. First up, golden hour! Because I can’t resist that gorgeous light.

Set on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, this beautiful beach was drenched with light during sunset. And my goodness, did it show off this evening! I knew how much Andrea loves film photography, so most of the session was taken with medium format film. Going into the session, I knew I wanted to capture emotion. Their love for each other (they’re high school sweethearts, after all). And their love and excitement to welcome their little one to the world. Andrea was glowing the entire session, both from that beautiful sunset and from being a mama!

We wrapped up the session aboard their family boat in the marina. It couldn’t have been a more perfect way to celebrate this special season of life.
