St. Matthew’s Cathedral & St. Francis Hall | DC Wedding Photos
Today I’m sharing a sneak peek into Jennifer and Cliff’s modern romantic wedding in Washington, DC! They celebrated the start of their marriage at several beautiful locations throughout DC. We started at The Mayflower Hotel, always a classic choice for getting ready photos. Next, they chose to have a first look at the Spanish Steps before their ceremony. I’m always a fan of this special moment, and theirs was so sweet!
Jen and Cliff even hired the little Red Roadster from DC Urban Adventure to take them from the Spanish Steps to the ceremony. It was one of the coolest ways I’ve gotten around the city during a wedding!
Their traditional ceremony took place at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle. Being in such a meaningful place was a beautiful way to start their marriage. After taking a few formal family portraits, we traveled to St. Francis Hall, a hidden garden in the heart of DC! Their wedding was in the middle of April, just in time for the tulips to bloom throughout the garden. Jen looked stunning walking through the garden in her lace gown and veil!
Congratulations, Jen and Cliff!! I’m so excited for you to start your marriage, and I had the best time getting to know both of you over the past year. Your hearts are incredibly kind, and I know you will have a beautiful life together. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your day!
