No matter how many portrait sessions I do in Georgetown, I always love the location. It’s beautiful in all seasons, with plenty of variety. Needless to say, it was perfect for Jacquelyn’s maternity photos! She was joined by husband Reese, and their adorable samoyed, Freja. I’m not going to lie, Freja definitely tried to steal the show. She loved being in front of the camera and getting kisses from mom and dad!
We chose to capture photos on the cobblestone roads, near the C&O Canal, and at Georgetown’s waterfront park. Each location added something different to the gallery. It’s hard to choose a favorite, but I do love the golden light we got just before sunset near the water!
Jacquelyn and Reese recently welcomed their baby girl, and I’m so looking forward to sharing more from their newborn session soon. As Baby Plan Members, I will be following their little one’s journey for the next year, and I can’t wait! Enjoy a few of my favorite moments below.
