5 Month Baby Photos | DC Family Photographer
This in-home session was adorable to photograph! The family wanted 5 month baby photos to document their little one’s latest milestones. As a family photographer serving DC, Virginia, and Maryland, I encourage families to think about where they want their photos taken. They can choose from my natural light photography studio in Sterling, Virginia, an outdoor location (spring through fall), or in the comfort of their own home!
Some families choose their home during winter months since it’s too cold outside. Others want to document their favorite moments in a space that’s truly all their own. There’s something special about being in the nursery and having those moments to look back on!
What to wear for family photos – since mama wore a white dress with a soft blue floral print, we kept everyone else in simple outfits. Dad wore blue jeans and a white shirt, and baby wore an adorable romper with a very subtle stripe print. This is a great example of using a color palette (complementary shades of blue, white, cream, gray) to tie everything together.
