As you may already know, I’m planning my own wedding!! B proposed at the end of summer, and we’re having a blast planning all the details. One of the first things I wanted to do was find a sweet way to ask my matron of honor and bridesmaids to stand by my side. We all live across the country, so I knew I wanted to mail a card and, of course, some sea salted chocolate caramels.
During my search, I came across so many cute options! And I figured some of you may also be looking for simple, elegant cards. To save you from spending hours searching like I did, here are my top five picks!! (Oh, and one “will you be my groomsmen?” card – I couldn’t resist including it.) Can you guess which one I used for my own bridesmaid proposals? Leave your guess in the comments below, and I’ll respond to let you know if you’re right!
Note: the photos below are from each individual shop – I did not take them. But I did take the bridesmaid photo above at my Congressional Country Club wedding last month!
Foil stamped with a rose gold shimmer? These definitely fit the bill for timeless and elegant. Plus, you get to choose from ten envelope color choices. It’s the perfect way to customize the look!
I love that you can write you own message under the scratch-off sticker!! So cute and personalized. You can add their name or a “will you be my bridesmaid message” – whatever you want!
When it starts with “You’re the hocus to my pocus,” you can’t go wrong. It’s the perfect combination of whimsical and classic. And with Halloween just around the corner, it could be the perfect way to pop the question!
If you’re looking to customize each individual card, these are for you! Options for colored envelopes and liners make it even easier to add a personal touch.
So simple, and oh so sweet! I love the calligraphy and tiny heart detail over the “I” (you’ll miss it if you don’t look closely). Also, you can pick the exact number of cards you get – so it’s easy to customize for your unique wedding party!
Also, I couldn’t resist sharing this one for those of you asking groomsmen! I just love the How I Met Your Mother reference.
