Georgetown Engagement Photos
Last week I spent a beautiful fall morning in Georgetown with Caroline and Graham. It was the perfect spot for their engagement session, and I had a blast getting to know them better!
If you follow along my photography blog, you already know I love using my engagement sessions to learn more about my couples and give them a chance to get comfortable in front of my camera. Well, these two naturally excelled at the “posing” because they’re just so cute together. Which made it even easier to get some of my favorite shots (like the bridge one above!!)
Their Story
These two met at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania when they were both juniors. Graham played on the football team, and Caroline was on the soccer team. So of course we had to take a few photos to tie in that part of their story!!
When Graham proposed, he planned a special surprise. Before going out to dinner with their families, they made a stop at the Iwo Jima memorial. (If you’ve never been there, it has one of the prettiest view of the city!) All of a sudden, Caroline’s family showed up as well, which was completely unexpected. And of course, that’s when Graham got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
They’ll tie the knot next summer, and I couldn’t be more excited to capture all the moments!! Congratulations, you two! See more Georgetown engagement photos below!
