What to Wear for Maternity Photos | In the Client Closet

What to Wear for Maternity Photos | In the Client Closet

Your maternity session is booked, and you can’t wait! What’s next? Planning what to wear, of course!

As a Northern Virginia newborn photographer, I provide a client closet of dresses for maternity photos. You can borrow a dress or two for your photos so you don’t have to worry about purchasing your own! This saves you money – and the stress of shopping. Many mamas aren’t sure what size they’ll be, or they don’t want to invest in a maternity gown they’ll only wear once. By borrowing one from the client closet, you can skip all of those details.

Here are favorite dresses for maternity photos in the client closet:

sheer white maxi dress timeless maternity photos

Why mamas love this sheer ivory dress for maternity photos: so many reasons! The fabric for the skirt is lightly sheer without being too much. We can easily play with the fabric to either fully cover you and the belly, or we can get a few photos with your belly out. It can be worn on or off the shoulder, and looks stunning in the studio.

In fact, the photo on the left was chosen as a finalist in Belle Lumiere’s End of the Year Awards in the Film category for 2022!! See more photos from this timeless maternity session here.
