From the first moment of my Skype meeting with Rebekah, I knew her and David would be such a fun couple to work with. She immediately felt like a friend, and I knew we would get along so well. Their wedding sounded beautiful, and I loved that they were all about adding meaningful details to their day. Plus, they are such genuinely sweet people! After they booked I couldn’t wait until their engagement session!

Well, last week I finally got to meet them in person – and it was the best! They were so kind to get up before the sun came out (which definitely isn’t the most fun thing to do). But it was so worth it to have the park to ourselves and get that soft morning light. And it was so great just getting to know them better! We talked about being puppy parents, how wedding planning is going and about their proposal story.

Long story short, David planned a gorgeous proposal in Hawaii. They were going on a trip there, and he thought it would be the perfect time to ask Rebekah to be his wife.  He chose a cliff overlooking the ocean as the proposal spot – and oh my goodness, the photos they showed me of the moment are stunning!! As they told me the story, I could see their excitement about getting married and their strong love for each other. It’s so obvious they belong together. And it is such a huge honor to document this special time for them!
