Studio Newborn Photos with Big Sister

Big sister was completely smitten with her new baby sister. These sibling moments are always some of my favorites to document, especially when they unfold naturally. I leave plenty of room in my sessions for these kind of moments. So you don’t have to worry about toddlers or older siblings posing “perfectly.” We have plenty of time to go with the flow and find the magic organically.
The session took place in my cozy Northern Virginia photography studio, where I focus on a relaxed, lifestyle-inspired approach to newborn photography. No stiff posing or props – just honest moments that feel true to your family’s story.
Mom wore a gorgeous floral dress from the client closet, available to all of my portrait clients. With over 60 dresses to choose from, the client closet makes it easy to feel beautiful and camera-ready without the stress of shopping postpartum.
Film photography
One of the most unique parts of this session was the use of film photography. Film adds a rich, dreamy quality to each image – bringing warmth, softness, and timelessness to your photos. It’s available as an add-on for all sessions and is a favorite among families who value fine art photography and a more intentional experience.
