St. Francis Hall Wedding Photos
It’s official! Karen and Justin tied the knot this past Sunday at their St. Francis Hall wedding in Washington, DC. It was nothing short of magical! You may remember these two from their Meadowlark Garden engagement photos last fall. They had a magical session that day, too! Something about these too just radiates happiness and love, and it’s an honor being part of all the moments.
As you may have already figured out, Karen dreamed of a fairytale wedding. One filled with meaningful details, lots of laughter and dancing, and so much love. Well, it’s safe to say they had that and more!
One of my favorite parts of their St. Francis Hall wedding was all the meaningful touches Karen included while planning. Their rings were custom made, the cake was homemade using the bride’s grandfather’s recipe and the bridesmaids dresses were altered to be custom as well. They wrote letters to each other, and Karen shared a special letter with her parents. Their custom storybook backdrop was stunning – I’ve never seen anything like it! You’ll have to scroll down to see for yourself. It definitely fits the fairytale description!
The reception was also just as exciting.
They even had a life-size llama all the way from Peru, which was the perfect complement to the Peruvian feast served that night! Needless to say, this was a hit with the guests. So many great photo opportunities throughout the night! Everyone danced the night away, enjoyed the delicious cake and had a blast celebrating.
The biggest thing that stood out to me was how well Karen and Justin go together. They are such a strong team. The way he looks at her is beyond sweet, and she can always make him laugh. They’re a match made in heaven, and I couldn’t be happier for them as they start their marriage together.
Congratulations, Karen & Justin! I’m so excited for your as your venture off on your honeymoon, and I hope you have the most beautiful marriage together. Cheers to married life!
