If you think the front entrance is stunning, just wait until you see the gorgeous courtyard! Tucked away in the heart of the city, it has its own reflecting pool, lawn and plenty of architecture. When you realize the reception space also has a grand staircase, it will completely steal your heart!

Potomac View Terrace – American Pharmacist Association

Washington, DC Historic Museum Wedding Venue with a View

Potomac View Terrace boasts some of the very best views in the city. Part of the American Pharmacist Association, this gorgeous venue can be found right along Constitution Avenue. The front steps and a striking doorway set the scene for an unforgettable ceremony. Not to mention, guests will enjoy cocktail hour on the side patio with views of the Lincoln Memorial. And you’ll dance the night away under the stars in the rooftop reception space. Tented, temperature-controlled, and just enough open air for a celebration that’s unlike any other!

Meridian House is one of my top wedding venue choices in DC for a few reasons! First, it offers a large garden courtyard and European architecture so you get the best of both worlds. Second, the dining room and reception gallery are rich in history. You and your guests will feel like royalty surrounded by exquisite portraits and antiques. Finally, the front entrance features a gorgeous staircase and entryway, perfect for portraits.

Carnegie Institution for Science

Washington, DC Historic Wedding Venue

If you’re looking for an elegant wedding venue, Carnegie Institution for Science might be ideal for you. Featuring impressive details, romantic architecture and classic details, it’s more than impressive. Their spacious ballroom accommodates up to 150 guests, and the adjoining marble Rotunda is spectacular.
