Give me a garden, a sunset, and an adorable family, and I’m happy as a Washington, DC family photographer! These spring garden family photos were taken at the Bishop’s Garden at the Washington National Cathedral. We chose early May to get all the pretty spring flowers in bloom. And they did not disappoint! There were so many beautiful spots in the garden, it can be hard to choose.
Most of these photos were taken on medium format film. I love when clients choose to add film photography onto their session! The artistry and intention behind each and every film photo really makes your gallery stand out. I also use my digital camera alongside my film one both as a backup, and to catch some of those super quick moments with toddlers (and pups)!
Spring is a popular season around Northern Virginia and DC for photos – as I’m sure you can tell! We love all the different blooms, warmer weather after a long winter, and of course capturing those special moments for you. If you are interested in working together, I would love to chat! Send me a note below so we can connect.
