As I started writing this post, I realized it was going to be one of the more difficult ones. Not only because there are simply so many beautiful photos from their wedding. (Narrowing down which ones to include was such a challenge.) But also because it’s hard to describe just how thankful I am to Hannah and Ryan for including me in their celebrations.
Hannah and Ryan are two people who truly care. They care about each other in such a way that you can instantly tell they’re meant to be together. They care deeply about their family and friends – all of whom made the trip from Australia and around the world to be part of their special day. And they care about every single person who had a part in the celebrations. During their own toast, Hannah and Ryan specifically thanked everyone, including all of the staff, for making such a beautiful day happen. It just goes to show how much they love those around them.
If you remember their Central Park engagement photos post, you already know I had a blast hanging out them as they showed us around the city. So obviously, this trip was even better since there were several days of celebrations! From welcome drinks, to the rehearsal dinner to the wedding itself, Hannah and Ryan went out of their way to include us. It was so wonderful meeting their guests and seeing old friends as well! Allison, my best friend & MOH, is married to Hannah’s brother. So while I had met some of her family several years ago at their wedding, this time I really got to know everyone. And that’s always one of my favorite parts of this job.
I still can’t get over the views at their private cliffside villa, Hacienda de Los Santos, which overlooks the Bay of Banderas and the city below. Puerto Vallarta is BEAUTIFUL! And that’s just the start. The Eventeur team did an exquisite job designing a picture-perfect day, and my creative heart was filled to the brim with happiness as we photographed it all.
Hannah and Ryan have been together more than eleven years, which made it even sweeter as they read their handwritten vows and promises to each other during their intimate ceremony. They even asked Ryan’s sister, Laura, and her husband to play guitar and sing during the ceremony and their first dance. Not only were the performances beautiful to listen to, but they also made the moments even more meaningful.
And with more than fifty guests in attendance, the reception was one of the best I’ve ever been to. The party kicked off with a group tequila shot after the ceremony, and it continued into the early hours of the morning. When you add in the late-night churro and taco bar, it was nothing short of perfection. Without a doubt, I’ll be dreaming about this wedding for years to come. I can’t thank Hannah and Ryan enough for asking me to document this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
Congratulations, you two! May your marriage be filled with so much love, laughter and happiness. I hope you are enjoying your honeymoon in beautiful Playa Mujeres, and I can’t wait for you to see the final gallery! Here are a few sneak peeks from your Puerto Vallarta wedding photos!
