This past weekend I had the privilege of working with such an incredible couple, both inside and out. Sam and Taylor planned a beautiful day at Potomac View Terrace, and it was everything you could want for a classic Washington, DC wedding.
Their venue is part of The American Pharmacists Association headquarters, which features stunning views of the National Mall everywhere you turn. They also started the day at Le Meridian in Arlington, where Sam had a sweet father / daughter first look with views of the Potomac River and city in the background. Of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without their pups, Penny and Odin! Odin looked adorable in his bowtie, and Penny’s flower collar was too cute. They were so excited to walk down the aisle, they couldn’t contain themselves!!
Their invitation suite, elegant seating display, specialty cocktail sign and florals carried the same shades of blue (one of my favorites). Hanging greenery arrangements adorned the ceiling of their tented rooftop space, adding an elegant touch to the evening. And I can’t leave out the best part – their open air dance floor was the perfect way to keep the party going! With the Washington Monument on one side, and the Lincoln Memorial in the other direction, their guests danced the night away with one of the best views in the city.
The entire day was a beautiful celebration of family, traditions and the start of something truly special. Congratulations, Sam & Taylor! I loved being part of your wedding, and I wish you both the very best as you start your marriage together!
