Today I’m sharing Ireland photos! This past May we traveled through Ireland, exploring this gorgeous country and getting to know the wonderful people in it. Along the way I took a few film photos photos documenting our journey. Here’s a tiny peek into what we did – and how I captured these moments on film.
Our adventure started in Dublin, where we did a walking tour to learn more about the city and of course the pubs. Next, we drove through the countryside through the Wicklow Mountains to Kilkenny. Our favorite part in Kilkenny was a private falconry lesson at Hawkeye Falconry. We can’t recommend it enough as a unique experience!! Next, we spent some time in the colorful, coastal town of Kinsale. I had the best clam chowder and fish and chips at the Bulman, thanks to recommendations from a few locals.
In County Clare we stayed at the Armada House in Spanish Point. We had a feeling the Cliffs of Moher would be a highlight of the entire trip, and we were lucky enough to get a rare sunny, war day to enjoy them! It truly is difficult to describe how majestic these cliffs are in person, and even though I love the film photos I took while there, I still feel like the photos can’t do them justice.
Galway was last on our trip, and we thoroughly enjoyed the pubs, vibrant city, and a day trip to nearby Connemara!
