Today I’m sharing a few favorite moments from Joe and Loretta’s DC portrait session! We stopped by two classic spots: the Lincoln Memorial and Georgetown for their engagement photos. Both locations offer unique views of the city. One gives you those iconic views that only DC offers. The other lends a more casual vibe as we wander through the charming cobblestone roads of Georgetown. Together, they create an unforgettable gallery of photos!
Working with Joe and Loretta was particularly exciting because they had JUST gotten engaged earlier that week! They had planned a trip out to DC from Illinois, and unbeknownst to Loretta, Joe had planned a surprise. He proposed at the reflecting pool by the Lincoln Memorial, then told her he had an engagement session planned for later that week. Such a great idea! Loretta picked out a new dress and the two were so excited for their session. We even took a few photos at the same bench Joe proposed!
Thank you, Joe, for being so thoughtful and including me in the surprise. It was definitely something I will never forget! That newly engaged feeling is so special, and being able to document it for them was an honor. Congratulations again, you two! Enjoy this time together!
