Forever Like That: Summer Recap

If you hadn’t noticed, I took a little bit of a break from blogging. With our own wedding plans and a busy summer wedding season, I intentionally pressed pause on the posts to soak it all in. And it was well worth it! But I am so excited to share that it’s back up and running on a normal schedule again – YAY!

To kick it off, I wanted to share what we’ve been up to the past few months:

  • WE GOT MARRIED!!! B and I tied the knot on August 4th at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, and it was the best day ever!!
  • …Then we spent 9 days in Mexico for our honeymoon! We chose an all-inclusive resort in Mexico because after wedding planning, we wanted nothing more than to sit on the beach with a drink in hand and no plans. It was epic.
  • I also photographed eight weddings this summer. And I loved every minute! My June, July and August couples definitely know how to plan a beautiful day – they were all stunning!
  • I celebrated my 28th birthday. With plenty of tacos and margaritas, of course.
  • My bachelorette party, which took place here in National Harbor and DC, was one of my favorite weekends of the year. Celebrating such a fun time with my favorite girls by my side was truly unforgettable. We had an incredible long weekend together, and I’m so grateful they were able to make the trip out here!
  • And B joined me as an assistant for a special proposal in Ocean City! I can’t blog about it yet, but I’ll be sharing photos as soon as I can. For now, you can check out this sneak peek from Billy Skipper Films.

So what’s next? We are simply looking forward to enjoying this next season of life together. Being married is the best!!

A few photos from our wedding!! Thanks, Alicia Lacey!!

Followed by a few photos I took on our honeymoon!! We already miss those views!!
