Family Maternity Photos at the Studio
I often get asked if family members can join a maternity session, and the answer is always yes! There’s something especially meaningful about photographing a family in the quiet season before everything changes. We’ll take a few photos of you as a family, capturing those special bonds between everyone. And we’ll also get photos of just you.
This maternity session at my Northern Virginia photography studio was the perfect reflection of that. It was casual, relaxed, and completely centered around simply being together. No pressure, no expectations, just space for connection, play, and lots of love. We went for casual outfits too (think: relaxed jeans, soft fabrics like textured linen, sweaters, and casual pants.)
Film photography was also a beautiful addition! All of the photos here (except the very last one) are film photos. It’s no surprise they’re my favorites from the session. Soft and dreamy film photography will always be a highlight for me.
