We kept these dc maternity photos laid-back and relaxed as we followed the light around the Capitol Building. As you can see, this is an iconic location for photos! The Capitol Hill neighborhood is a top choice for many of my families.
Liz chose to do two dresses for maternity portraits. Both were stunning! The first one was an ankle-length white gown with a soft blue print. It was beautiful in the greenery and against the neutral white backdrop of the Capitol Building. The subtle pop of color was perfect!
Her second outfit was from the client closet. (You’ll see it featured in this “What to Wear for Maternity Photos” article on the blog.) The floor length ivory gown is a favorite for a reason! The soft flowy fabric makes it incredibly comfortable while also flattering your bump. We took these photos at sunset, and the light was simply beautiful. I’m so looking forward to seeing this sweet family again soon for newborn photos!
