Madeline and Jon are officially married! After postponing for a year, we were so thankful to have the most perfect weather for their spring nuptials.
Madeline and Jon met in the dining hall at Georgetown University. They stayed friends during their undergrad years, then stayed in touch after graduation. They later started dating, and the rest is history! Having their ceremony at Dahlgren Chapel on campus was the perfect way to start their marriage. After the ceremony, they were surprised by Georgetown University’s very own pep band! It was a joyous way to kick off the evening of celebrations.
Their reception took place at the Cosmos Club, founded in 1878 as a private social club. It’s now for those distinguished in science, literature and the arts, a learned profession or public service. As a historic downtown landmark in Washington, DC, it is truly a unique venue. With Tabitha at Roberts and Co. Events at the helm, the entire day was beautiful from start to finish. The ballroom, an already elegant setting, was made even more stunning with large cherry blossom stems as centerpieces.
My favorite part was witnessing Madeline and Jon finally celebrate with everyone. These two smiled the entire day, and you could just tell they soaked in every single moment.
Congratulations again, Madeline and Jon! Your day was beyond beautiful, and it was an honor to meet your family and friends. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments below.
