Washington, DC Family Photographer | Fall Photos in the City
There is something magical about Washington, DC in the fall. The leaves are gorgeous, the city is full of life, and you guessed it – it’s one of the most popular times of the year for family photos. As a DC family photographer, I love this beautiful season.
This particular portrait session took place in the heart of the city. We had a view of the Washington Monument, along with classic columns and plenty of beautiful foliage. Add in that gorgeous morning light and film photography, and you’ve got a recipe for some beautiful photos!
I loved working with Marie and her sweet family. She is also a photographer, so she was a pro at prepping their wardrobe. Everyone looked fantastic, and I’m obsessed with her blush gown. The kids did a wonderful job. Their energy was perfect for those playful moments, but we also got some of those soft ones too. Motherhood is a journey, and it was an honor to document this unique point in time for Marie’s family.
