Virginia Family Photos | Virginia State Arboretum

After a very busy fall, I’m finally taking some time to update the blog with the latest Virginia family photos. First, I’m sharing this sun-soaked golden hour family session on film. If you’re one of my past brides, you may recognize Sarah as a photographer from your wedding. We have been working together for years! It was such an honor meeting her husband, Danny, and their beautiful baby girl, Ally.

We chose Virginia State Arboretum for their family photos. This was my first time visiting the arboretum, and it did not disappoint! The lovely blend of architecture and nature is a personal favorite of mine. The sunset was also showing off on this September evening, making for some lovely sun-drenched moments. These evenings work particularly well for film!

Ally particularly loved the camera (probably because her mom is such a talented photographer)! So many sweet smiles made their way into the photos. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments!
