I’ll say it – in my opinion, Tudor Place Historic House & Gardens is one of the most beautiful places in Washington, DC. It’s located in the heart of Georgetown, but once you’re inside the gardens, it feels like you’re in your own little world. From the rows of flowers and greenery, to the breathtaking path leading up to the house, there are so many options for photos. And you don’t have to worry about other people or tourists being in your photos.
This session will always be a favorite of mine because I got to see Christina and Bryce again! I had the honor of taking their engagement photos in Shenandoah National Park. Seeing them again for their anniversary photos was simply the best.
Although the golden hour weather wasn’t quite as cooperative this time around, we were still able to capture some beautiful moments. The forecast showed clear skies all day, until the very last moment. We could see dark rain clouds headed our way right as we started. The radar showed it might just miss us – so we decided to keep going! Luckily the rain only lasted a few minutes, and we were able to continue the full session. DC weather may be unpredictable, but it just goes to show Christina and Bryce have a solid relationship and can make the most out of even the less than ideal situations.
I’m thrilled to share a few favorites from the session below. It was so hard to choose. I love how they all turned out! As I mentioned, Tudor Place has so many picturesque spots throughout the property. It’s easy to make magic while surrounded by this kind of beauty – and a beautiful couple!
