Engaged? I Hope You Ask This Question

“Can I print my wedding photos?”

YES!! You absolutely can! Actually, I would be thrilled, over-the-moon, ecstatic if you do! I encourage each and every one of my couples to take that extra step after their wedding day is over.

Why? Think of it this way. I’ll send you the online gallery, and you’ll likely put them on your computer and on a few back-up drives to be safe (definitely do that last part). Maybe you’ll make a Facebook album and share the photos on a few other social media channels too. And that’s all wonderful!! Digital images are a great way to share photos instantly.

But here’s my big question for you. How often will you go back and look at them? If photography is a priority on your wedding day, and you want to have beautiful images from one of the most important moments of your life – don’t you want to make the most of those photos?

I have to say, holding your photos in your hands is a completely different experience than seeing them on a screen. It’s much more tangible – something you can physically hold onto as you place it in a frame and hang it on your living room wall. There, it will be a visual reminder of the day filled with so much love. The moment you promised your lives to each other – through good times and in bad. And seeing that photo every day is such a beautiful reminder!! So yes, I would LOVE IT if you printed your photos!

This is why I include a print release with every wedding collection.

Printing your photos is so important to me, I don’t require you to order through my business. Every wedding collection includes a personal print release allowing you to order prints anywhere you’d like for the rest of your life.

Because most importantly, I want you to hold those moments in your hands. I want you to include them in the home you’re building together, and I want you to show your future children and grandchildren the framed wedding photo that tells your story.

To be completely honest (because I love transparency), I would also be happy if you ordered through my store. My lab is calibrated to my computer, ensuring the perfect color every time. And consumer level printers can’t make that promise. But at the end of the day, your story is more important. Your wedding photos are more important. So to me, that’s 100% worth it. And I truly hope you take that to heart and order those prints!!

Love this! I totally agree. Prints and albums ALLLLL the way. Facebook isn’t going to last forever – that can’t be where all of our photos and memories are kept!

Loved this. Now I need to print and hang some of my wedding pictures.

  3. I feel the same about printing! I give prints with my wedding collections & offer a print release for the additional photos. The worst thing that could happen is that their memories are stored on a hard drive & forgotten about. With prints, they’ll never be forgotten!
