Rose Garden Family Photos | Northern VA Photographer
Is there anything more beautiful than a rose garden for family photos? There are several gorgeous gardens here in Northern Virginia, and this one has to be one of my favorites! Especially when you add on film photography, like this family did.
Peak bloom is from late May through late June, and my goodness is it worth it! Because this is a popular spot, you’ll want to book your photographer ahead of time. I typically start filling up spots by February.
For this session, mama wore a gorgeous DÔEN dress. It complemented the garden, and keeping baby in a simple ivory romper was a beautiful way to mix a solid and print. The lace detail on the romper added just the right amount of texture, and of course a bow is always an adorable accessory.
We took these photos for baby girl’s first birthday! As you can tell, she was very excited about being one. Turning one is a very special milestone, and I highly recommend documenting it if you can. There’s something unique about that age when baby is just starting to take steps, but isn’t quite a full toddler yet. It goes by quickly, so be sure to book ahead if you want those moments forever!
