4 Reasons to Book a Studio Newborn Session | Northern Virginia Photography Studio
Are you expecting a little one and trying to decide if a studio newborn session is right for you? Here are four reasons my clients love having a studio option for newborn photos. I’ve been in business for more than 8 years, and I’ve had the studio for almost 4 of those! It has turned into a beautiful space that’s perfect for newborn photos (and maternity photos!)
Reason #1: There is no need to clean or prep your home.
It’s as simple as that! No need to pick up the clutter, prep any rooms, or worry about having anyone over. All you have to do is come to me and I’ll take care of everything for you!
Reason #2: The studio has everything you need for newborn photos.
No need to worry about prepping too much! All you need to bring is baby and any baby essentials (like bottles, formulas, and a diaper bag). The studio has white swaddles and wraps for baby, and I have the cutest little bows for baby girls. Take your time browsing through the client closet of dresses and trying them on to find the perfect one – or two! While I can bring a few options to in-home sessions, clients love being able to see all the dresses at once during studio newborn sessions. Reason #3: My simple, neutral studio backdrops let us focus on your baby’s adorable features and your connection as a family
If you’re going for simple and sweet, the studio is for you. I have a gorgeous hand-painted light gray backdrop, and we can use a variety of simple props throughout the space including an antique bench, white seating space, and simple stools. The neutral backgrounds allow your baby’s adorable little features to be front and center. And it really highlights the emotions during this very special time in your family!
Reason #4: No need to worry about the weather or rain
The studio gets plenty of natural light rain or shine! With in-home sessions, we sometimes have to reschedule if it’s going to be a dark, rainy day and your home won’t get enough natural light. The studio natural light is more controlled since I know exactly how much light the space gets. So we don’t have to worry about that if you choose a studio newborn session!
Where is the studio located?
The studio is located in Northern Virginia in Sterling just outside Washington, DC. It’s easily accessible with plenty of parking, bathrooms on-site, and a changing room in the studio. I offer family photos, maternity photos, and newborn photos at the studio, and I’m available for in-home and outdoor sessions through the DMV!
