Last fall I had the honor of capturing Alec and Anda’s newlywed portraits in DC. They chose the Washington National Cathedral for their photos. The Cathedral is an architectural masterpiece, perfect for any portrait session.
In addition to the Cathedral itself, the grounds include 59 acres of land. The Bishop’s Garden is a favorite for photos. From the striking doorway leading to the gardens, to the large array of blooms around every corner, it’s a sight to see. In fact, every time I have a portrait session at the National Cathedral, I find new backdrops. It’s simply that beautiful.
Taking Alec and Anda’s portraits was a wonderful time. We wandered around the gardens, explored the courtyard, and captured so many sweet moments. Congratulations, you two! I loved working together. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments below!
Photos captured on medium format film & digital. Film scans processed by PhotoVision.
