Lauren and Patrick’s wedding at Meridian House in Washington, DC, was a beautiful blend of elegance and fun. Throughout the day, these college sweethearts made it a point to spend as much time with their family and friends as possible. Since they had to reschedule their original wedding date due to covid, it was beautiful seeing everyone finally come together to celebrate.
Their decor choices complemented the elegant venue. Cream florals and lush greenery filled the space. Greenery garlands welcomed guests into the historic home and up the grand staircase. Lauren and Patrick’s intimate ceremony was simply beautiful, inside and out. It was held indoors surrounded by beautiful architecture in every direction. Their vows highlighted their commitment to each other, along with the love and support they both have from their families.
The rest of the evening was a lively celebration! Laughter filled the air as friends reunited, family gathered together, and everyone raised a glass to toast the newlyweds.
During cocktail hour, guests mingled in the courtyard among the grove of linden trees as string lights twinkled from above. Live music added a classic touch. Strings graced the ceremony and cocktail hour, with a live band to kick off dancing. Through it all, Lauren and Patrick were all smiles. You could tell the long wait was worth it. After all the planning and rescheduling, one thing was certain. These two are meant to be together, and it was an honor to witness the start of their marriage.
Congratulations again, Lauren and Patrick! Enjoy a few of my favorite moments below.
