Maternity Photos at the Studio | Northern Virginia Photographer
If I had to describe this maternity session in two words, I would use “beautiful” and “elegant.” I’ve known Tracy and Kyle for years, having had the honor of taking their engagement and wedding photos. Getting to document this extra special time as they get ready for their baby girl was even sweeter.
Tracy chose a beautiful blush dress from the client client. One of the perks of working with me is you get to use the dresses in my client closet! Adding beautiful pieces to the collection has been so much fun. (A little too much fun – I’m always finding new gowns to add!!) Tracy looked absolutely beautiful in the gown, and I love how it highlighted her cute little bump.
We were originally supposed to take their maternity photos outside, but the weather had other plans! After rescheduling once due to rain, with a full week of rain ahead of us, we decided to switch to the studio. Since this was in July, it wasn’t the worst thing to happen! Taking your maternity photos in an air conditioned studio without worrying about rain or heat is more relaxing, I have to admit. And the studio gets incredible light even in the rain – as you can see here!
