As it turns out, Lake Tahoe is even more beautiful than I imagined! It has been on my bucket list for a while, so we figured it would be the perfect way to end our west coast travels.
While we were there, we had the honor of working with Sarah and Hunter for their engagement session. Since Sarah is a planner at Events by Daydream, a Lake Tahoe wedding planning company, she knew the best spots around the lake. Not only did she give us amazing recommendations on hiking trails, beaches and general things to do in the area, she also chose the perfect location for their photos!
We met on the eastern shore and followed the path down to one of their favorite beaches. Tucked on the edge of the lake, Whale Beach has some of the prettiest views we saw all week! I’m talking crystal clear water, huge boulders dotting the shoreline and unparalleled views of the mountains in the distance.
In addition to being beautiful, it also holds extra meaning for these two. Sarah and Hunter live close enough to the lake to visit frequently after work, on weekends and whenever they get a chance. Since they’re so comfortable there, they were complete naturals in front of the camera. We also got to watch a gorgeous sunset, which is one of my favorite perks of my job.
To top it off, B and I had a blast hanging out with them! Thanks for everything, you two! We were so thankful for all of your recommendations, and we can’t wait to get back out there again!!
