In-Home Newborn Photography in Alexandria
These in-home lifestyle newborn photos were a dream to take. I always love connecting with my clients in their own home. Taking photos in the nursery while we chat about how life has been since welcoming their little one home makes this job even more special!
For this session, we chose to focus on the nursery, primary bedroom, and just a few in their living room. I always look for the best natural light in your home and go from there. During your session, I usually aim for a mix of photos that showcase, and up-close photos of baby with neutral backdrops to showcase those teeny tiny baby features that are oh-so cute.
Because while it’s nice to have your home feature as the main backdrop (your personal touches and decor always seem like the perfect setting), it can also be nice to have a few neutral photos of just baby.
The star of the show here was their Bernese Mountain dog who is thrilled to be big brother. He was so excited to be included in the photos, and I always adore when dogs are there. They’re part of the family too!
