Georgetown Sunrise Engagement Photos | DC Wedding Photographer

I met Courtney and Michael through one of my 2020 couples (thanks, Chelsea & Matt), and I’m so glad I did! It always means so much when my couples trust me with their photos and invite their friends to do the same. Not to mention Courtney and Michael instantly felt like good friends. I had so much fun getting to know them!!

They chose Georgetown for their engagement photos, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect spot. After taking in the waterfront views, we wandered through the adorable residential streets. It turned out the light in front of Brilliant Earth, the place they got Courtney’s engagement ring, was gorgeous. So we couldn’t resist taking a few extra meaningful photos there!

These two also showed up in style. I loved the soft, pretty colors Courtney chose for her dresses, and Michael looked so handsome next to her. It made me so happy to hear they enjoyed using my engagement style guide as they put everything together! They also brought along a bouquet of flowers and a little bubbly to celebrate. It was such a fun way to end the session!
