Newborn Photos at Home in Fairfax County
Bringing your baby home is such a special time. Those first few weeks are filled with tiny details, tender moments, and lots of love. One of my favorite ways to capture this season is through in-home newborn sessions right here in Fairfax County.
There’s something so meaningful about photographing your baby in the place you’ll spend most of your days together. There’s no need to stress about packing up or traveling anywhere. Instead, you can simply enjoy being at home while I document these fleeting first days. And don’t worry, you don’t have to clean the whole house. Focusing on just a couple rooms we’ll likely use (often the nursery, primary bedroom, living room, or other room with lots of windows) is all you need to do.
It’s extra special if you have a furry family member you want to include in photos! I’m a big dog person (we have a dog ourselves), and while I love including them in photos, my studio building does not allow them. So if you want your pup to be in photos, we can simply take them in your home.
Client closet dresses + baby swaddles included
One of the perks my clients get to enjoy is my client closet of dresses. With over 60+ dress options, with a variety of sizes and flexible fits available, there’s something for everyone. For in home newborn photos, I can either bring a few dresses for you to try on (like the gorgeous blue floral Nothing Fits But dress you see in these photos). Or you can come to the studio before your session for a styling appointment to look through the dresses and choose your favorites.
I also bring white swaddles and simple white onesies to your session for baby to use during our time together, along with the woven natural basket you see pictured in these photos. If you have your own outfits, that’s fine too! At the end of the day, I want the process to be simple and easy for you every step of the way. So you can soak in those early newborn days, without worrying about the time slipping away.
