Daughters of the American Revolution Wedding Photos

It’s official: Maryana and Stephen tied the knot last weekend during a beautiful ceremony at the Daughters of the American Revolution Headquarters. I had been waiting for their wedding all year!  The DAR has been on my dream venue list for a while. So as you can imagine, documenting a wedding as elegant as Maryana and Stephen’s was a dream come true!

Not to mention, getting to know these two over the past year was wonderful in itself. At their engagement session in Georgetown, we had a blast wandering around the city and finding new portrait locations. Even though it was 6am, their love for each other was easy to see. They were both full of energy and excitement, and they quickly make you feel like a close friend. And as we got closer to their wedding date, I also loved Maryana’s attention to detail.

You see, Maryana manages events for Corcoran Caterers, so she already knew everything to know about event planning. She was well organized, and planned every detail in advance. The best part? After all the hard work and planning, Maryana and Stephen both truly relaxed and enjoyed every minute of their day. Their first look on the rooftop was incredibly sweet, and they were just glowing with happiness and excitement during their ceremony.

Their first dance on the Portico was one of my favorite moments of the evening. And the toasts were very touching, especially when Stephen’s brother, Spencer, shared childhood stories that had everyone laughing and tearing up all at the same time. From start to finish, it was truly a celebration full of so much joy.

Congratulations, Maryana and Stephen!! I have loved getting to know you two over the past year, and I am so happy to call you both my friends. You will always have a special place in my heart. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments from the day!
