As summer comes to a close, it felt like the perfect time to share this August maternity session! As an Old Town Alexandria maternity photographer, I have a handful of favorite locations throughout the charming little city. Early morning is always a beautiful time of day, especially if you want waterfront photos. The Potomac River makes for a beautiful backdrop – especially in the summertime.
These maternity photos were extra special because I’ve known Chelsea and Matt for quite a while! I took their engagement photos back in 2019 and wedding photos in 2021. And now I get the honor of taking their baby’s newborn photos!! Being part of your big life milestones means the world to me. Especially when it comes to a couple like these two! Every time I spend time with Chelsea and Matt, we have the best time. It truly feels like hanging out with old friends. They are going to be incredible parents, and I can’t wait to meet their little one!
