The Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington, DC, is always an iconic choice for engagement photos. It provides a classic background, has plenty of gorgeous greenery and the white marble is an elegant touch. Add in the fact that Brian proposed to Rikki here, and it was the perfect choice for their Thomas Jefferson fall engagement photos!
We originally scheduled their session for September, but due to Hurricane Florence’s potential threat, we decided it would be best to move it to October just in case. And it all worked out because they got a gorgeous golden hour! After so much rain this year, it has been such a treat to get sessions with golden, beautiful light!
Not to mention, hanging out with Rikki and Brian was so much fun! I’m already counting down the days until I get them back in front of my camera for their District Winery wedding in June. It’s going to be such an amazing day!
Congratulations, Rikki & Brian! Enjoy some of these Thomas Jefferson Fall engagement photos!
