It took a couple tries to get to Chris and Marlo’s engagement session, but it was completely worth it! On the first scheduled day, we woke up to rainstorms that would not let up. So we decided to push it out a week, hoping some of the pretty fall leaves would stick around.
Well, it turned out to be the best decision. The light was soft and romantic, which paired perfectly with their gorgeous location (The Barns at Hamilton Station Vineyards). We still found trees with colorful leaves. And it was the last day before the first snow of the year. I’m so thankful we snuck this one in before everything froze over. It also happened to be the one year anniversary of their first coffee date. Such sweet timing!
Not to mention, these two are so easy to work with. To start, they look absolutely incredible together. They showed up looking perfectly styled for the fall. And the best part? They simply love being together. The entire session was filled with so many genuine smiles and lots of laughter. I can already tell they’re going to have such a wonderful marriage together with their families!
Congratulations, Marlo and Chris! I am so thankful to work with both of you, and I’m already counting down the days to your wedding in the spring. Enjoy some of my favorite moments below.
