Simple Cake Smash Photos | Northern Virginia Photographer
I’ve had the pleasure of working with the Allen family for the past couple of years. From maternity photos, to in-home lifestyle newborn photos, and now Washington’s first birthday last fall. They opted to do a studio session, with a cake smash at the end. Washington was a BIG fan of the cake – mostly the berries on top. Talk about a cute way to celebrate turning one! We kept things simple and sweet so this family can always have these memories. When it comes to cake smashes, I always have the family bring their own. I also loved the outfits Stef picked out! We kept everything laid-back and relaxed. Washington’s adorable overall romper gave him plenty of flexibility to crawl and snuggle and play. And I love that we really captured their life at this stage right now. Enjoy a few of my favorite photos below!
