It took a couple tries, but we finally ended up with a beautiful day for Alex and Rachel’s Glenview Mansion engagement photos! Thunderstorms canceled their first scheduled session, so we moved it a week later. But it all worked out in the end. The light was perfect for photos, and I had a great time getting to know them.
It was my first time visiting Glenview Mansion, but I had a feeling it would be a new favorite spot. I always love the elegant combination of architecture and gardens. With a formal garden area full of blooms, a front lawn and picturesque front porch, it definitely fits that description!
Alex and Rachel also brought along their adorable goldendoodle, Sammy. Spoiler alert: he definitely loved the camera! He was such a good boy the entire time. It’s easy to see the love Rachel and Alex have for each other, and for Sammy, so I can’t wait to see what their wedding day brings. It’s also at my all-time favorite venue, so I can’t wait!!
Congratulations, Alex & Rachel! Enjoy a few more photos from your engagement session!
