An Old Town Alexandria & Fox Chase Manor Wedding: Mr. & Mrs. Alvarez
A St. Mary Church & Fox Chase Manor Wedding
Nayely and Ruben promised each other forever on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Their wedding ceremony at St. Mary in Old Town Alexandria was the perfect way to start their marriage together, surrounded by friends and family. And their reception was full of love, laughter and more amazing moments than I can count! I have to tell you: it was so hard to narrow down the photos for the blog post! I had a blast going through them, and I can’t wait to share more with the happy couple!
If you saw Nayley and Ruben’s Thomas Jefferson engagement photos, you may already know these two are high school sweethearts. They were so easy to work with for their engagement photos, and I just knew their wedding day would be the same way. With so much love for each other and everyone around them, these two are going to have an amazing marriage.
Some of my favorite highlights from the day:
The wedding colors were so gorgeous!! If you know me, you know I love these shades of blue. So obviously, this one was a dream for me!
Both of their families were so sweet – and so much fun! Nayely chose to do a first look with her father, and it was one of my favorite photos from the day.
We stopped on Prince Street for some classic cobblestone photos – and it was well worth it! See for yourself below.
I photographed my favorite gender reveal ever! Think: confetti canons after the first dance, and a surprise rendition of “I Loved Her First” by the bride’s father. Just wait until you see their adorable reaction!
Nayely’s dance with her father was just as amazing. They started out with a sweet moment, only to pull out sunglasses for their choreographed dance medley. Everyone loved it!
I loved all the traditions they included in the reception. It made the evening so special, and everyone clearly had a blast!!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Alvarez! Enjoy some of my favorite photos from the day.
