At the time I was working as a digital marketing strategist at a financial firm and dreaming about being my own boss. Before that, I worked at Kohl’s as the beauty, shoes and accessories editor. My entire corporate background focused on brand voice, websites, digital marketing and using SEO to grow a brand. So naturally, I applied the same digital strategies to my own business.
Since then, I’ve gone full-time, and I’m often asked marketing questions by fellow creative business owners. It started at my monthly group meet-ups and expanded into a Work the Workflow workshop I co-hosted last year.
