After rescheduling their original date because of a rain/snow/sleet combination a couple weeks ago, I’m happy to say Lauren and Andy had gorgeous weather for their engagement session!! And they just so happened to pick the perfect spot for photos.
In fact, I’ve added it to my list of favorite session locations because first of all, I love being by any type of beach/waterfront. And second of all, it’s the perfect option for couples who want beach photos but don’t want to travel all the way to the coast! Also, I’ve been dreaming of beach days since winter rolled around. So even if it was only 50 degrees, I couldn’t be happier to have my feet (in this case, boots) in the sand.
Not to mention, I had a blast hanging out with these two!! Lauren and Andy were complete naturals in front of the camera, which made my job easy. I loved the way they made each other laugh, and the little details tied everything together so well. Andy picked out a stunning engagement ring, which I loved photographing. And Lauren wore a necklace with the coordinates of the place they met: Annapolis. So sweet!! Add in stylish outfits, and you have the perfect session! They also mentioned they were going for a sushi date night after the session, which just so happens to be my favorite date night too. Obviously, I’m going to love working with these two this year!
Congratulations, Lauren and Andy! I can’t wait for your gorgeous Tidewater Inn wedding later this year. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the session!
The sign below was a gift from Lauren’s matron of honor, which she got at Terah Bull Designs (another friend of the bride)! It’s so sweet, we just had to get a few photos. You can see more of her work on Etsy.
