If I had to choose one word to describe Jen and John’s fall wedding at Airlie, it would be JOY. The entire day from start to finish was filled with such an overwhelming feeling of love, it’s hard to describe. They’re simply meant to be together. Witnessing their marriage begin was a true honor.
To start, Jen has the biggest heart. You can tell she loves John with everything she has, and he feels the same. Their ceremony was filled with so many happy tears and laughter – like everything was simply right in the world now that they’re together.
Spending time with both of them for their Inn at Little Washington engagement photos and then their wedding day was one of my favorite parts. I truly felt like I got to know both of them, and it’s the best when clients turn into friends through all of it.
And I can’t forget to mention that Jen and John know how to plan a gorgeous day! Jen’s gown was absolutely breathtaking. She looked like she belonged in a fairytale!! The elegant tulle featured blush and peach undertones that I still can’t get over. They also filled the day with lush greenery and flowers, particularly on their custom barn doors they had made for their ceremony and sweetheart table.
Their newlywed portraits took place in the garden at sunset, followed by a reception celebration with their closest friends and family. Everything about the day felt like a fairytale come to life. It was definitely one for the books!
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Jensen!! Enjoy a few more sneak peeks from your stunning day.
