St. John the Apostle & Raspberry Plain Manor Wedding Photos

Michael and Katie are officially husband and wife! The day started with getting ready at Katie’s parent’s house. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was going to be an amazing day. Gifts were shared, letters read and lots of happy tears made for a sweet morning.

After an emotional first look, they said their vows at St. John the Apostle in Leesburg and celebrated their brand new marriage with family and friends at Raspberry Plain Manor. I have to say, it is always one of my favorite venues. Between the beautiful garden, the views off the patio and the light-filled reception space, it is a photographer’s dream come true. So I was looking forward to Katie and Michael’s special day all year!

I also quickly fell in love with their wedding day choices. The color scheme was right up my alley (all those blues are perfect)! Heirlooms were included in the day as well. Katie wore her grandmother’s necklace and added a pin to her bouquet. These little touches are always a beautiful way to honor your loved ones.

Most importantly, they wanted to spend as much time with family and friends as possible! Michael’s brother, Nick, was the best man. Katie’s sisters, Julia and Meaghan, stood by her side as the maid and matron of honor. The toasts were the perfect mix of sweet and hilarious. Which means plenty of happy tears were shed, but lots of laughter filled the room as well.

With such loving families by their side, it’s easy to see these two have a wonderful support system. Katie and Michael, I have no doubt you will have a beautiful marriage together. Thank you so much for trusting me to capture these moments. Enjoy your honeymoon!!
