The session fee includes:
- your portrait session reserved on my calendar
- planning and wardrobe styling
- complimentary access to client closet of dresses
Sessions can take place in my natural light studio in Sterling, an outdoor location in the area, or in the comfort of your own home. I guide you every step of the way when it comes to planning and preparing for our time together.
After the session, you'll view the edited images and purchase digital images and/or artwork separately. Most clients invest 1400 - 2500+ in total for the experience.

The session fee covers your photography time and my creative assistance planning your session. After viewing the edited photos, you'll purchase digital images and artwork separately. You'll view the edited photos in the comfort of your own home and place your digital image and/or artwork order online. I'm also available to meet with you in person to finalize your artwork designs!
HOW DOES PRICING WORK?
How early should we book?
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The earlier the better! My calendar often fills up months in advance. However, you can always check if I have a last-minute opening. For maternity and newborn, I recommend securing your reservation the beginning of your second trimester. To book you'll sign a contract and pay the session fee - both can be done online!
What if it rains?
We'll reschedule to another day for no extra charge.
I NOTICED YOU ARE A FILM PHOTOGRAPHER. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Absolutely! I'll help you choose the location and give you personalized wardrobe advice. You can even borrow a dress from the client closet. Location options include the studio, an outdoor location in the area (see ideas here), or your home. Please note all in-home and outdoor sessions take place on weekdays Tuesday - Friday. I also offer a handful of Saturday Studio sessions each season.
As an artist, I enjoy including film photography to give you those soft, creamy tones and timeless aesthetic. I also use my digital camera for low-light situations and fast-moving little ones. Together, they create a unique photography experience. You'll have the option to add on film photography to your session fee at booking.
